4. Heartline roll - uniform rectilinear motion with a twist

Towards the end of the Helix roller coaster, you move along a nearly straight line - while the body, and the train rotates around a "Heart line". This is accomplished with a somewhat strange track shape, best viewed under the final brake.

What does this "uniform rectilinear motion" feel like? What forces act on your body?

Watch the short movie (or a longer version) of the motion and the related forces.

Make your own roll.

Use the phone to collect data when you rotate the phone around a horizontal axis.
